If you're just starting to improve how you look in a Zoom courtroom or deposition, we can make it easy. Three simple purchases will change everything:

1. WEBCAM -- The first thing you need to replace to improve your appearance on Zoom is the camera built into your computer or laptop. We recommend the Logitech C920x, which retails for $69.89 at Amazon.

2. MICROPHONE -- You want to look better and sound better, which is done by upgrading your microphone. A headset with an integrated microphone will always give you the best sound, so our first suggestion is the Logitech H540, which retails for $29.99 at Amazon. If, however, you can't abide by the look of a headset microphone, our next favorite choice is the Blue Snowball iCE, which retails for $39.99 at Amazon.

3. LIGHT -- The secret to attractive video is ample, even light. For your first light, we recommend the Elgato Key Light Air, which retails for $109.99 at Amazon. While you should really buy two of these lights and set them up on either side of your camera, if you want to start with only one, that's fine, too.

If you bought only the items we have listed here, you would spend $319.86.
